Serena enrolled at San Diego State University in the Fall of 2018 and is pursuing a major in Business Management with minors in Public Health and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. In her senior year of high school, she completed an internship with MemorialCare Medical Foundation under the Chief Operating Officer and this past summer she did an internship with Providence St. Joseph Health Care in the Strategic Planning department. She plans to graduate in May 2022 and pursue a career at a non-profit pertaining to Health Management. Serena joined Delta Sigma Pi her first semester freshman year, Fall 2018, where she was VP of community service for her pledge class Gamma Xi. Her year in this chapter has really given her a sense of friendship and a higher value of what business is all about, and now she is on the Community Service Committee. At San Diego State, Serena is involved in Dance Marathon as Assistant to Corporate Fundraising, Delta Gamma, and Associated Students Community Service Commission which allow her to foster her love for service. As for leadership, she is involved in SDSU Ambassadors, the Weber Honors College, and Associated Students University Affairs. She plans to study abroad during Fall 2020 in Madrid, Spain because her dual citizen with Italy and the United States has instilled a desire to experience new languages and cultures. In her free time, Serena enjoys spending time with friends, dancing, the beach, exploring, and traveling the world. She hopes to experience as many cultures as she can and leave a positive impact on others lives.
