Ryan Hanzlick was born in Santa Monica but spent most of his childhood in Washington State. He lived in Canada for a couple of years before he moved back to California to finish highschool. He then attended Saddleback Community College before transferring to San Diego State because he knew the International Business program at State was one of the best in the country. When he transferred, he promised himself that he would get as involved as possible, which included pledging Delta Sigma Pi and joining campus organizations such as International Business Society and AITP. As a part of the Gamma Xi pledge class, he held the position of Vice President of Social Activities, and with the help of his committee, hosted many professional development events that brought the whole pledge class together. Ryan likes going to the gym, learning languages, and reading classic literature. Recently, he worked at Spencer Stuart as an Analyst intern while studying abroad in Santiago, Chile.
