Robert Polanco grew up in West Covina, California where he attended West Covina High School. Upon completion of high school, he worked full time for a couple of years until he enrolled himself back into school at Citrus Community College. During his time in community college he found his passion and enthusiasm for the field of business specifically in finance. He then transferred to San Diego State where he knew he wanted to become involved, so he then joined the Finance and Investment Society, helped start the first ever Aztec Investment Banking Association, and pledged Delta Sigma Pi as part of the Gamma Pi pledge class. During the fall semester, Robert got his first internship with CFG Wealth Management where he has realized his passion for the field of Financial Advising. Robert then earned his second internship with Merrill Lynch for the summer of 2020. Due to experiences growing up, Robert hopes he can give financial advice and help families manage their wealth. He hopes to obtain his CFP, Series 7 and 63, SIE, and CFA license. In the future Robert would love to get his MBA from a top tier university where he can learn and develop himself to further advance himself in the company he is working for. In his free time, he loves to workout, watch sports, and further his knowledge in the financial field.
