Raziel is currently studying Finance in his fourth year at San Diego State. He was born and raised in San Diego, California. After taking some time off of school he decided to go back to community college and transferred to SDSU to pursue a major in Finance. Over Raziel’s academic journey he has been a part of multiple organizations and he makes it a goal to truly get involved on campus. He was the vice president of philanthropy within the Finance and Investment Society, and now is the vice president of finance. He is a representative for the College of Business Council and is a member of AS- Campus Program Funding. Raziel is currently a private equity intern for StepStone Global, where he researches financial markets by working closely with the performance analyst team, facilitates in investment monitoring and reporting, and assists in individual and cross-sectional portfolio analysis focusing on market trends by strategy, sector, and geography. He is currently spending his time studying for level 1 of the CFA test and enhancing his financial modeling skills. In his free time, you can find Raziel reading the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, or Wall Street Oasis. When he gets financed out for the day, you can easily find him at the ARC on-campus lifting weights with other Delta Sigma Pi members.
