Nick Nguyen was raised in Alameda, California and is currently a third year student at San Diego State University. Growing up, Nick was always involved in sports, playing competitive soccer and basketball since the age of nine. In high school, he played three years of varsity soccer and was involved in Junior State of America, attending and participating in regional conferences and debates. Growing up within a tight-knit family, Nick learned about his aunt’s successful career in finance, which inspired him to pursue a major in Business Administration - Finance. At SDSU, Nick aspired to find a crowd of like-minded people in order to further his knowledge and experience as a businessperson as well as make new friends. He saw Delta Sigma Pi as a perfect opportunity, leading him to pledge the fraternity as a member of the Gamma Pi pledge class during the fall semester of his junior year. During the summers of 2018 and 2019, Nick worked as a Finance/Accounting intern at Veritas Investments, Inc., a property management firm in San Francisco. In the future, Nick aspires to enter the real estate or professional sports industry working in corporate finance. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing basketball and soccer, watching the Golden State Warriors, selling his clothes online, and listening to his favorite hip hop artists.
