Natalie Du is a third year marketing major at San Diego State University. She wanted to go into a field that allows her to showcase her creative and collaborative strengths, while also fulfilling her desire to spark change in people’s lives. This motivated her to seek different opportunities to reach her top goal of going into global strategic marketing specifically in healthcare. She had been working for Sharp Healthcare to familiarize herself with the industry; however, she knew she needed to build her interpersonal and professional skills to get to get to where she ultimately wants to be. Since pledging DSP, she has been a part of committees that focused around event planning, such as SVP and Fundraising committee, held the position as Director of Fundraising Fall 2018, and even mentored the best little. After she is done studying abroad in England with one of her pledge brothers, Hannah Gross, she will come back with a Visual Design and Marketing Internship with Solar Turbines in the summer. Although she grew up in San Diego, DSP has brought her friends from all across the globe, allowing her to become a tourist in her own city. When she is not exploring SD, she enjoys going on weekly coffee dates to have mental breakdowns with her friends, going on mini road trips, going to ‘up and coming’ artists’ concerts, and chasing sunsets.
