Major: Marketing
Year: Junior
Pledge Class: Gamma Xi
Natalie Du is a third year Marketing major at San Diego State University. Growing up, she did not know what field she wanted to dedicate to for the rest of her life; thus she seized every professional and extracurricular opportunity she got to explore different fields. What she did know was that she wanted a platform where she could showcase her creative strengths, while also fulfilling her desire to spark change in others lives. For a long time she was stuck between wanting to go into event planning and hospitality or healthcare. But as the little taco girl says, “porque no los dos?”. Since pledging, she has been a part of committees that focused around event planning such as SVP Committee and Fundraising committee. Now, she is serving as Fall 2019’s Director of Fundraising. Furthermore, she is currently interning as a Special Events Intern at the Timken Museum in Balboa Park. However, her dream is to go into global strategic marketing in the healthcare industry. In order to work towards her goal of working for Johnson & Johnson, she has sought hands on experience by working at Sharp Healthcare and gaining professional support through her brothers of Delta Sigma Pi. Natalie is anticipating on taking on Europe Spring 2020 with two friends whom she met during rushing last fall. She also plans on picking up her first little this semester (especially so Theresa Vu doesn’t feel too lonely without her youngest little). Although she grew up in San Diego, after making friends with people from all over the country and the world, she has too, become a tourist in her own city every weekend. When she is not out exploring SD, she enjoys doing wholesome activities such as watching movies every Tuesday, spending time with her family, online shopping, aggressively pinteresting, dancing (iykyk), and having deep talks with her friends! Oh, and eating :)
