Minor: Japanese & Management Information Systems
Pledge Class: Gamma Rho
My Tran is a second-year Accounting major, minoring in Japanese and MIS at SDSU. She decided to get more involved on campus to expand her networks and learn more about the business world by joining Delta Sigma Pi and eventually became a part of the Gamma Rho pledge class in Spring 2020 where she has gained a lot more professional and personal skills. Wanting to give back to and learn more about the Iota Pi chapter, My has decided to stay active and serve in seven different committees and hope to run for a position in the future. This semester, My is also serving as a Co-Director of Fundraising for Tijuana Home Build and is looking to join more academic-related organizations such as Finance and Investment Society (FIS) and Student Accounting Society (SAC) to search for more future opportunities. She is planning to study abroad in Korea in Fall 2022 and work in the banking/finance industry post-graduation. In her free time, she loves watching anime or k-dramas, learning Japanese or Korean, and exploring Convoy with her friends.
