Minnie is a junior majoring in finance at San Diego State University who came from Venezuela. When she was 8 years old her parents decided to send her back to China to learn the Chinese culture, and after she finished middle school, she returns to Venezuela for high school education. By growing up in different countries surrounded by different cultures, she decided to go to a new country to pursue higher education, and here she is, in San Diego State. Since Minnie has been moving around a lot, she developed a passion for languages. She knows four different languages and is trying to learn a new one on her own time. Minnie wanted to be active in San Diego State, she had worked for the Confucius Institute as an article translator and the International Student Center as an international student mentor, but she was looking for something more related to her major, so she decided to join Delta Sigma Pi. She pledged the first semester of her junior year as a member of Gamma Xi. With her love for languages, she is helping a fashion blogger located in Los Angeles to translate English fashion articles into Chinese. Minnie loves to travel, she is planning to visit all the European countries in the summer of her graduation. She is planning to study her master degree in Barcelona. During her free time, Minnie likes to workout, she is doing a swimming class at the arc center and doing boxing at a club located at North Park.
