“To some this may look like a sunset. But it’s a new dawn.”– Chris Hadfield
Minor: Interdisciplinary Studies
Pledge Class: Gamma Pi
Megan was born and raised in San Diego, California and is currently a junior at SDSU. She went to Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, where she was involved with ASB as a finance commissioner. Megan is pursuing a degree in Accounting and is also in the Weber Honors College. She plans to go into public accounting after college as she pursues her CPA license. She will be interning at Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP this summer as a rotational accounting intern in the Bay Area. After working in public accounting for a while, she hopes to go into forensic accounting with the Treasury Department focusing on white collar crime. Megan pledged Delta Sigma Pi in the fall semester of her third year because she wanted to become more involved on campus and meet people who have similar career aspirations. She served as VP Operations for the Gamma Pi pledge class. Megan’s mom and dad are also alumni of the Iota Pi chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, which is another reason that pushed her to pledge the Fraternity. This semester Megan will be studying abroad in Germany and is looking forward to the new experiences that will arise from spending a semester in a new country. She is also excited to travel to Ireland as well as hopefully getting the opportunity to ski in the Swiss Alps. When Megan is not studying accounting, she loves spending time with her Rottweiler, Otto, riding motorcycles with her dad and her sister or skiing in Mammoth with her mom.
