Matt Miller was born and raised in San Jose, California. During his tenureat Willow Glen High School, Matt spent a majority of his time playing baseball or volunteering at science and summer camps for local elementary schools. Growing up in the capital of Silicon Valley, Matt became extremely interested in the business side of the surrounding companies, and knew he wanted to be a business major. Combine this with his hope to live and work in Europe after graduation, Matt enrolled at San Diego State University as an International Business - Germany major, but promptly switched to Marketing, as it was better suited his career aspirations. Understanding the importance of getting out and meeting like-minded people and preparing him self for his post-graduation career, he was led to Delta Sigma Pi. After hesitating his first semester, Matt pledged the fraternity as a member of the Gamma Omicron Pledge Class. Immediately, he knew he made the right decision, as he learned so much about the business world and had a great experience with his pledge brothers. After serving on both the Pledge and Social Committee last semester, he is now apart of the Marketing Committee, and has future aspirations of holding executive positions and becoming a Big. After graduation, he wants to work in either the automotive or sports industry, but has not nailed down anything too specific. During his free time, you can usually find Matt spending time with his friends, working out or playing basketball at the ARC, and exploring the greater San Diego area.
