Try not to become a man of sucess. Rather become a man of value. - Albert Einstein
Major: Management, Economics
Pledge Class: Gamma Xi
Mark is an exchange student from Ulm University, Germany and currently in the third year of his Management and Economics Bachelor program. After Mark graduated from high school, he wanted to travel the world and get to know different countries and cultures. He decided to go to Costa Rica and volunteer in a day care for children in need, which inspired his passion not only for travelling but also for helping others and having a positive impact on the people around him. In March 2018 Mark interned with Deloitte in Germany where he examined invoices, receipts and other documents to help complete an auditing process. Coming to San Diego, Mark wanted to expand his horizon in the business environment and connect with like-minded people to build friendships and a professional network, so he pledged Delta Sigma Pi in fall 2018 as part of the Gamma Xi pledge class. After graduation Mark wants to gain more experience in the consulting sector and then plans to apply for MBA programs in California and Europe to eventually work somewhere where he can have a meaningful impact on his community. After school and during the weekend there is a good chance you run into Mark at the gym, Wholefoods, and almost any place where they sell good Ramen, Italian food or coffee. When he is in Europe, Mark is teaching tennis at a local tennis club and also likes to spend the summer in Italy with his family.
