Major: Management with Emphasis in Human Resources
Pledge Class: Gamma Iota
Madison Gingold is a fourth year Business Management student with an emphasis in Human Resources here at San Diego State University. Growing up in the Bay Area, Madison was greatly influenced by the technology and business industries combined in a fast-paced and competitive environment. Interested in a professional organization to further her knowledge of the business world, Madison pledged Delta Sigma Pi her freshman year as part of the Gamma Iota pledge class. Madison has held numerous leadership positions within the Fraternity, such as Director of Marketing, Vice President of Pledge Education, President, and now Director of Social Activities, and she has thoroughly enjoyed giving back to an organization that has given her so much. Madison chose to major in Human Resources Management because of her love for being a leader and helping people. This past summer, Madison worked at Adaptive Insights, a software company in Palo Alto, California, as an intern for the Human Resources department. Madison has also held various jobs over the past 4 years, such as on campus in the Student Union and at Apple, which she wholeheartedly believes she wouldn't have gotten without her time in Delta Sigma Pi. Throughout her 4 years at SDSU, she has fallen in love with the city so she will be staying in San Diego after graduation. This summer, she is traveling to Greece, a country that has been on her bucket list for some time now, and she is very excited! After the trip, Madison hopes to work as a college recruiter for a San Diego tech company. Madison’s long-term career goal is to one day work her way up within a company’s Human Resources department to become a Chief Human Resources Officer. In her free time, Madison likes to learn about Space and the Universe, spend time with dogs, go to the beach, and eat Mexican food and/or Sushi.
