Julian was born in Inglewood, CA but lived in Los Angeles, CA until he moved back to Inglewood at the age of 5. He attended Junipero Serrra High School in Gardena, CA where he got involved in organizations such as football, band, and ASB, serving as Senior Class Vice President in his senior year. This experience in particular exposed him to many diverse business skills which became a determining factor in majoring in business. Julian knew that because he grew up in a city that he wanted to go to a university that was located in a city, aside from one that was located in the woods. Once he was offered admission to San Diego State in December 2016, he accepted almost immediately despite never visiting the school. Fast forward 7 months to July 2017, he was awed by the beauty of the school and the surrounding area. As to how he got involved on campus, he was already accepted into the Presidential Scholars Program which helped him acclimate to univeristy life. His most recent work experience was in Summer 2018 as a Student Intern at Los Angeles World Airports, the aviation company that owns LAX and Van Nuys Airport where he worked closely with the CEO to provide support in administration and partnership operations. Following these experiences, he knew that finding a bigger platform in order to advance both professionally and socially was the key to balance out his desire to learn about more aspects of business and his outgoing personality. He pledged Delta Sigma Pi in Fall 2018 serving on the Social Committee and found an even bigger drive to improve himself in all aspects of his life. Along with school and DSP, Julian is involved with Financial Affairs Committee and the Presidential Scholars Leadership Association. During his free time, he enjoys going out with friends, playing rugby, lifting, reading, binging How To Get Away With Murder, and listening to alternative rock. In the future, he hopes to continue his studies into graduate school in a MBA/JD program in order to become a managing partner for a law firm with culturally diverse clients or the in-house council for a fashion house such as Balmain.
