Julian was born in Inglewood, CA but lived in Los Angeles, CA until he moved back to Inglewood at the age of 5. He attended Junipero Serrra High School in Gardena, CA where he got involved in organizations such as football, band, and ASB, serving as Senior Class Vice President in his senior year. This liaison-esque role exposed him to many diverse skills which became a determining factor in majoring in business. As to how he got involved on campus, he was already accepted into the Presidential Scholars Program which helped him acclimate to univeristy life. Following these experiences, he knew that finding a bigger platform in order to advance both professionally and socially was the key to balance out his desire to learn about more aspects of business and his outgoing personality. He pledged Delta Sigma Pi in Fall 2018 of his second year serving on the Social Committee and found an even bigger drive to improve himself in all aspects of his life. After taking the time to see where he thought the chapter needed improvement, he took on the role of Director of Univeristy Relations in Fall 2019 along with getting a little, Brooke. He continues his joruney in giving back to the chapter in Spring 2020 by serving on the Finance Committee. Julian has had many different work experiences, starting in Summer 2018 as a Student Intern at Los Angeles World Airports, the aviation company that owns LAX and Van Nuys Airport where he worked closely with the CEO to provide support in administration and partnership operations; retail jobs at stores such as Banana Republic and AllSaints; and 2 externships with AXA Adivsors and ECF Wealth in Fall 2019. Along with school and DSP, Julian is involved with Financial Affairs Committee, Presidential Scholars Leadership Association, and the Aztec Rugby Club. This semester, you'll catch him studying, planning his study abroad experience in London for Summer 2020, and probably jamming out to an electric guitar solo. During his free time, he enjoys going out with friends, playing rugby, lifting at the ARC, reading, and listening to alternative rock. In the future, he hopes to continue his studies into graduate school in a MBA/JD program in order to become a managing partner for an investment firm with culturally diverse clients, the in-house council for a fashion house such as Tom Ford or even a Finance Director for men's magazines like GQ or Esquire.
