Pledge Class: Gamma Pi
Jimmy Mohammad is a senior majoring in finance. He was born in Kabul, Afghanistan but spent most of his childhood in Moscow, Russia before moving to the states. Throughout his life he has moved around a lot which has helped him develop a unique perspective on the world and an interest in learning about different cultures. As a kid he stayed active by playing various sports, primarily soccer. When he transferred to SDSU from Grossmont College he wanted to surround himself with more driven and goal-oriented individuals. This led him to pledging Delta Sigma Pi as part of the Gamma Pi pledge class, during which he served as part of a few key committees. Currently he serves as the head of the finance committee for the fraternity. He also co-found and currently serves as a member on the board of directors for the Aztec Investment Banking Association at SDSU, an organization geared to help students learn more about the investment banking industry; and stays an active member of the Finance and Investment Society. He has worked in the industries such as retail, entertainment and real estate. His most recent internship was with a real estate brokerage firm in San Marcos. In the future he plans to obtain his CFA, an advanced degree in Finance, SIE, and other financial securities licenses. In his down time he likes to chill, ski, read, watch movies, listen to music, watch soccer, cruise on his board and try new foods.
