Pledge Class: Gamma Omicron
Dominique Surabian grew up in Simi Valley, California and was raised by two entrepreuners, who instilled in her the value of a business education from a very young age. Her desire to pursue a business degree became increasingly prominent as she went through highschool, where she was extremely involved and gained extensive leadership experience through leading the varsity lacrosse team, serving as Student Body President, and founding Skip1 Club- a group of students organized to raise money for the creation of kitchens, feeding programs, and clean water intiatives in impoverished countries. One of her proudest moments was having her lacrosse jersey retired after graduation, as she was among the first group of students to be inducted into her school's Hall of Fame for her athletic acheivements and contributions to the community through the coaching and mentoring of young players. Dominique is currently a sophomore majoring in Finance, having discovered an interest in the field after her Summer 2019 internship with Merrill Lynch, Bank of America. She pledged for Delta Sigma Pi with the Gamma Omicron class in hopes that she would find a group of similarly-motivated individuals that would push her to develop personally and professionally. She excitedly served as Vice President of Fundraising for her pledge class. In her free time, you can find Dominique on the lacrosse field with the SDSU Club Team, listening to classic rock, rewatching Grey's Anatomy for the 4th time, playing electric guitar, or accidentally twinning with her beloved Big, Kristina.
