Pledge Class: Gamma Xi
Claire is currently a first year student at San Diego State University pursuing a degree in Accounting. She grew up in Tustin, California, and attended Arnold O. Beckman High School in Irvine, where she was involved in Autism Youth Ambassadors, Link Cru and the Varsity Dance Team. Her team is nationally ranked 1st in Pom Dance and has even traveled to Orlando, Florida, for a national dance competition. Outside of school, Claire competed with a private dance company in addition to her high school team. She developed a passion for community service and helping others while volunteering with Assisteens, a non-profit organization. She also served as President, Treasurer and multiple philanthropy chairmans in the organization as well. During her first semester at State, Claire pledged for Delta Sigma Pi in Fall of 2018 and served as VP of Finance for the Gamma Xi pledge class. Pledging was definitely an unforgettable experience; she met some of her closest friends, grew professionally and developed a passion for business, specifically Accounting. After graduation, she plans on becoming a CPA and pursuing a career in Public Accounting at one of the Big 4, and eventually moving into the healthcare industry. Outside of school, Claire enjoys watching sunsets in Laguna Beach, traveling, swinging in her hammock, listening to music, watching movies and spending time with her friends. Her favorite movies include Good Will Hunting, Ladybird, Juno, Breakfast Club and Coco.
