Pledge Class: Gamma Mu
Camryn McCrary was borned and raised in a small town in Ohio where she was involved in many activities. At the age of 16 she was apart of Ohio's congressman Jim Renacci's re-election campaign which sparked her interest in advertising and public speaking. After traveling out west, Camryn fell in love in SDSU where she attended the school in the fall of 2017. Wanting to be involved on campus, she pledged Delta Sigma Pi during fall of 2017 and was the chancellor for her class. Following initiation, Camryn served on the pledge committee during the spring of 2018 and was the Vice President of Pledge Education in the fall of 2018. Other organizations she is involved with include: secretary of The Student African American Sisterhood, video creator for The Daily Aztec and member of The Advertising Club. She is currently the regional coordinator for the education publishing company Pearson and works as a newsroom assistant at KPBS. With her love for advertising, she has had a previous summer internship with Sugardale where she managed their social media and will be apart of Pearson's advertising internship during the summer of 2020. In the future, Camryn looks to pursue a career in the fashion industry hoping to work on the ethical issues that are shown on TV and social media. In her free time, she loves to watch horror movies, listen to Tupac Shakur, and eat tacos.
