Aubrey was born in the Philippines and lived there for 7 years before moving to Chicago, IL. She speaks two Filipino dialects which makes English her third language. Aubrey has an innate desire to help others. For example, she was on the executive board for a non-profit organization that helped underprivileged families in the area she grew up in. She was a peer minister for a church class and spent her years in high school leading a Catholic youth group. Being an active member in her community has always been an important part of who she is. In high school, she was the Treasurer of the National Honor Society, Senior Editor for the yearbook, as well as a Senior Board member for her class. Her senior year of high school she competed in a shark tank like competition with a team and won $10,000 for developing a product that dries wet phones. This experience is what lead her to major in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Her goal in life is to become a social entrepreneur and create businesses catered around social issues, whether it be local or international. Her freshmen year at SDSU, along with pledging DSP, she got involved in Associated Students, and the Asian Pacific Student Alliance. For the 2019-2020 school year she is a Resident Advisor for the Business Learning Community in Zura and the Student Diversity Commission Representative for Associated Students. Aubrey enjoys listening to her many many Spotify playlists, going to the beach, and break dancing with her pledge bro Claire Wu.
