Anthony Barragan is a third-year HR Management student that was born and raised in Camarillo, California. During his pledging process last fall, Anthony involved himself in three committees giving him the opportunity to collaborate with his pledge brothers and create strong friendships. As a newly initiated brother, he is involved with the finance, fundraising, and brotherhood committees. Growing up in Ventura County, Anthony enjoyed hiking the various trails along the Pacific Coast Highway or surfing at different beaches around his hometown. Anthony played soccer and wrestled in high school, in which he graduated in 2016. Post-graduation, Anthony attended a local community college and was involved in the Business Student Association. During his time in community college, he was a full-time student, worked in the restaurant industry, and began pursuing his entrepreneurship ambitions by running a small medical equipment business with his dad. Today, as a student who transferred to SDSU last fall, Anthony is focusing on his academics while looking for internship opportunities related to Human Resource Management. He hopes to someday work in industries dealing with banking and finance, healthcare, or technology, and ultimately go into business consulting. Anthony enjoys watching football, basketball, baseball, and especially soccer, in which you'll most likely find him playing this semester with his pledge brothers. When Anthony isn't at the gym, soccer field, or library, he'll most likely be in his room playing his guitar, reading, or listening to EDM and hip hop.
