Major: International Business with an Emphasis in Japan
Pledge Class: Gamma Mu
Amy was raised in the bitter north of Anchorage, Alaska. There, she started learning Japanese at the young age of 6, got involved with Student Government as the spirit commissioner, and was President of Zonta International for two years. In her spare time you could always find her out on the water rowing, and one day SDSU offered her a position on their D1 Team. Amy had grown tired of fighting bears and living in an igloo, so she decided she wanted a change of scenery so she took this offer and moved down to sunny San Diego. Here she studies International Business with an emphasis in Japanese, hoping to put those 13 years of learning the language to good use. Although, studying and rowing full time wasn't enough. She seek out new ways to get involved and found and fell in love with DSP. In her pledge class, she served as the VP of Community service and one days hopes to be President of the Chapter. Amy loves to travel the world, and aspires to visit every country by the time she's 24. She has held a handful of different jobs, from working at concert arenas, to photo booths, to financial companies, to teaching kids how to jump rope. So, if you're in need of a job - she is the girl to ask. If she's not laughing and joking around with her friends, or working herself to the bone, chances are she's on a plane somewhere on an exciting new adventure.
