Maggie O’Hare is from San Luis Obispo, California and is starting her second year at San Diego State. While in high school she played on both the high school soccer team as well as club, and also experimented playing tennis and dive as well. She was also involved in the National Honors Society which started her love for community service. During her Junior Year she organized a toy drive for a local foundation called Jack’s Helping Hands. This was an organization to help children with cancer and disabilities. Once at San Diego State, during freshman year spring semester, Maggie wanted to continue her passion for community service so she joined the GreenFest committee, as well as pledged for Delta Sigma Pi. She looks forward to one day running to be the VP Community Service. In her free time, Maggie loves to run with her husky, hike with him, or go to the beach with him. She misses him so much when she is at school :( She looks forward to her daily nap where she dreams about going to Thailand and rescuing elephants since they are her favorite animal.
