Pledge Class: Gamma Eta
Katie Christensen grew up in Orange County before moving to San Diego to attend SDSU. As a competitive dancer for 10 years, she learned and retained many core values such as motivation, commitment, discipline, teamwork, and passion. Because numbers have always been her forte, Katie knew she wanted to pursue Accounting and explore another Southern California city. Wanting to learn more about the business world and be a part of a solid support system, Katie pledged the Gamma Eta Spring 2015 Pledge Class during her freshman year and was the Co-Chair Vice President of Activities for her pledge class. She has also served as the Co-Historian for the chapter. This semester, she is VP of Scholarships & Awards and her goal is for the Iota Pi chapter to win 1 national award at Grand Chapter Congress in August. Katie is also apart of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting honors society. She hopes to gain professional accounting experience working internships before obtaining her CPA and working as a forensic accountant. In her free time, Katie enjoys eating at new restaurants, dancing, and spending time with her friends.
