Carolyn Yee is a fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She is involved in many organizations on campus as the president of SDSU eSports, a member of the honor societies Phi Eta Sigma (previously Secretary) and National Society of Leadership and Success (previously Logistics Coordinator), was the VP of Professional Activities in her pledge class, and served as the chapter's Director of Corporate Relations last semester. After getting involved in the video game community in high school, she became enamored with the culture and people of the gaming community and now strives to make her mark in the gaming sector. So far, as the president of SDSU eSports, she has organized 5 large scale gaming tournaments that hosted 400+ people from the school and the surrounding local population along with schools from all over the west coast (including UCSD, UCI, and CSULB). She also interned for the software company Smash.GG this past summer as a Customer Success Intern. There she worked directly with large partners like Microsoft, Twitch, Epic Games, and Blizzard to ensure that their events ran smoothly on the platform. Carolyn is also a part of the Lavin Entrepreneurship Program, and hopes will lead her to new heights and help her create a network of contacts to further expand her event planning skills along with helping her create a startup for a game-related product/company. She is an ambitious, highly motivated individual that always pushes herself to her fullest in everything she does. In her spare time, she loves to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, watch shows, hang with friends, and of course, play video games!
