Aliea Marrero was born in Stockton, California, but then moved to Mukilteo, Washington. There she became involved with all kinds of sports including tennis, track, softball, and soccer, however, at a young age she found her passion in basketball. She continued to play basketball from the age of five all the way up until her senior year of high school. In high school, she was the captain of the varsity basketball team for three out of her four years. Aliea decided to end her basketball career and continue on her education. Looking for schools in California, she fell in love with San Diego State University. Soon after starting her freshman year of college, she discovered Delta Sigma Pi. Aliea pledged for Delta Sigma Pi looking for a brotherhood. She was apart of the Gamma Mu pledge class and found her best friends. She holds the position of Vice President of Scholarships and Awards while also working at the SDSU bookstore. In her free time, you can find Aliea at the gym working out with her pledge brothers Raz and Kareem, vlogging, or doing too much online shopping.
