After high school she made the decision to attend San Diego State University to stay close to home, but also having the ability to move out and experience life on her own. Having past leadership positions in Finance, she decided to major in that field; however, along the way she switched to International Business, realizing that her passion comes from the Latin culture she grew up in. As she wanted to get more involved in college, she decided to pledge Delta Sigma Pi during her fall semester of sophomore year and held the position of VP of Finance, while also joining the International Business Society. She is now involved in the Hispanic Business Student Association as well, and currently holds an Executive Position as the Director of Fundraising for Delta Sigma Pi. In the near future she plans to travel abroad to either Mexico, Ecuador, or Chile to further expand her knowledge of Latin culture and all it has to offer. Before starting her career in corporate high fashion, Alexis aspires to travel the world to teach English to children less fortunate for a couple years. Outside of school, Alexis enjoys exploring different places to eat, going to concerts, going shopping, and having fun with friends and family!
